RICH

CLINICAL: RICH (rapidly involuting congenital hemangioma) is a glut-1 negative congenital hemangioma that regresses rapidly during the first year of life.

HISTOPATHOLOGY: distinctive features include 1) central large draining channels often with abundant fibrosis 2) hemosiderine deposits 3) no vascular malformations 4) no hobnail endothelial cells

DIFFERENTIAL:
- infantile hemangioma
- NICH (noninvoluting congenital hemangioma)
