Synopsis

- well-demarcated nodule
- fascicles and nests of tightly packed
- moderately sized, spindled to oval melanocytes
- scattered melanophages
- centered in the reticular dermis
- blunt-ended, bulbus extensions that extend into the subcutaneous fat
- occasional mitoses
- significant cytologic atypia
- necrosis absent
