Cytotoxic granule-associated protein granzyme-B (GZMB) activates caspases and lead to the destruction of virus-infected cells or transformed cells.

Expression in tumors

- angiocentric NK/T-cell lymphoma of the head and neck (60%)

  • all CD56+
  • natural killer (NK) cells and/or activated cytotoxic T cells phenotype
