Anti-Jo-1 antibody is a myositis specific antibody commonly found in patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. -
anti-SS-A(Ro) antibodies
17 June 2017Anti-SS-A(Ro) antibodies are found in many autoimmune disorders, such as SLE, subacute cutaneous lupus, neonatal lupus, ANA negative lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, primary biliary cirrhosis, chronic active hepatitis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Anti-SS-B (La) is far more specific for Sjogren’s syndrome than anti-SSA. It is also found in SLE.

anti-centromere antibodies
17 June 2017Systemic sclerosis, also known as scleroderma, has three subtypes: diffuse cutaneous, limited cutaneous (CREST) and overlap.
Anti-centromere antibodies are associated with limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (CREST).
CREST is an acronym representing Calcinosis, Raynaud’s syndrome, Esophageal dysmotility, Sclerodactyly, and Telangiectasias. -
