Definition : Cell physiology is the biological study of the activities and the functions that take place in a cell to keep it alive.
The term "physiology" refers to all the normal functions that take place in a living organism.
All of these activities in the cell could be counted as following ; nutrition , environmental response , cell growth , cell division , reproduction and differentiation.
The differences among the animal cells , plant cells and unicellualr microorganisms shows the (...)

stress granules
21 August 2017Stress Granule
Cytoplasmic stress granules (SGs) are critical for facilitating stress responses and for preventing the accumulation of misfolded proteins.
Oxidative stress is one of the conditions that induce SG formation. SGs regulate redox levels, and SG formation in turn is differently regulated by various types of oxidative stress.
Pathology
SGs have been linked to the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, in part because SGs share many components with neuronal granules. (...) -

biosystems
14 June 2017biological systems WKP
Definition: A biological system is a complex network of biologically relevant entities.
As biological organization spans several scales, examples of biological systems are populations of organisms, or on the organ- and tissue scale in mammals and other animals, the circulatory system , the respiratory system , the nervous system , etc.
On the micro to the nanoscopic scale, examples of biological systems are cells , organelles , macromolecular complexes and (...) -
cellular secretion
14 June 2017cell secretion WKP
Cell secretion
The classical mechanism of cellular secretion is via secretory portals at the cell plasma membrane called porosomes.
Porosomes are permanent cup-shaped lipoprotein structure at the cell plasma membrane, where secretory vesicles transiently dock and fuse to release intra-vesicular contents from the cell.
