CD15
9 November 2004WKP
Definition: CD15 (3-fucosyl-N-acetyl-lactosamine) is a cluster of differentiation antigen - an immunologically significant molecule. CD15 is a carbohydrate adhesion molecule (not a protein) that can be expressed on glycoproteins, glycolipids and proteoglycans.
CD15 is a carbohydrate adhesion molecule (not a protein) that mediates phagocytosis and chemotaxis.
It is also called Lewis x and SSEA-1 (stage-specific embryonic antigen 1) and represents a marker for murine pluripotent stem (...) -

Definition: Cell membrane metallopeptidase expressed by early B, pro-B and pre-B lymphocytes, and by lymph node germinal centers.
CD10 is widely distributed in normal tissue, including brush border of small bowel mucosa.
CD10 is also expressed in neoplasms (epithelial cells and (...) -

CD81
4 May 2004CD81 is a tetraspanin cell surface protein that regulates CD19 expression in B lymphocytes and enables hepatitis C virus infection of human cells.
Immunohistologic analysis in normal hematopoietic tissue showed strong staining for CD81 in normal germinal center B cells, a cell type in which its increased expression has not been previously recognized.
