  Definition: Hemosiderotic synovitis is associated with hemophilia and intra-articular bleeding.
  There is no mononuclear or giant cell nodular cellular proliferation. Hemosiderin is primarily found in synovial lining cells.
  Localised- and diffuse-type tenosynovial giant cell tumours (TGCT) are regarded as different clinical and radiological TGCT types. However, genetically and histopathologically they seem indistinguishable.

  PVNS PO
  Definition: PVNS is a rare neoplastic-like villonodular hyperplasia of synovium and tendon sheaths in young adults composed of mononuclear cells and multinuclear giant cells with hemosiderin deposition. It may be similar to diffuse form of tenosynovial giant cell tumor
  This lesion is an intra-articular form of the "diffuse type of giant cell tumor of tendon sheath ".

  This synovitis score is based on well-defined, reproducible histopathological criteria and may contribute to diagnosis in rheumatic and non-rheumatic joint diseases.
  Three features of chronic synovitis (enlargement of lining cell layer, cellular density of synovial stroma, leukocytic infiltrate) are semiquantitatively evaluated (from 0, absent to 3, strong) and each feature was graded separately.
