Post-operative maxillary cyst ; Post-operative paranasal cyst ; Implantation cyst PO
Synopsis
surgical ciliated cyst Surgical ciliated cyst (SCC) is a type of true epithelial lined antral cysts, which mostly occurs in maxilla from the sinonasal mucosa and gland, comprising 20% of all oral cysts in Japan. The etiology is believed to be post trauma or surgery in the region of maxillary antrum. It is also called as postoperative maxillary cyst or postoperative paranasal cyst. Surgical (...)

Examples
keratocystic odontogenic tumour (KCOT) or calcifying odontogenic cyst A calcifying cystic odontogenic tumor (CCOT) is a proliferation of odontogenic epithelium and scattered nests of ghost cells and calcifications that may form the lining of a cyst, or present as a solid mass. It was previously described by Gorlin et al in 1962 as a calcifying odontogenic cyst.

odontogenic cysts
25 March 2019WKP PO
Definition : Odontogenic cyst are a group of jaw cysts that are formed from tissues involved in odontogenesis (tooth development).
Odontogenic cysts are closed sacs, and have a distinct membrane derived from rests of odontogenic epithelium. It may contain air, fluids, or semi-solid material.
Intra-bony cysts are most common in the jaws, because the mandible and maxilla are the only bones with epithelial components.
That odontogenic epithelium is critical in normal tooth (...) -
