glabellar mucous cyst
23 March 2021Etiology
after rhinoplasty Ectopic free mucosal graft implantation during surgical treatment, herniation of mucosa through intranasal incisions, or improper clearing of mucous epithelial remnants and bony or cartilage parts during the operation are the most accepted theories for the formation of mucous cysts after rhinoplasty.Paywall references

sinonasal masses
23 March 2021Masses of the Nose, Nasal Cavity; sinonasal tumors
Definition: A wide range of masses develop in the nose, nasal cavity, and nasopharynx in children. These lesions may arise from the nasal ala or other structures of the nose, including the mucosa covering any surface of the nasal cavity, the cartilaginous or osseous portion of the nasal septum, the nasal turbinates, and the nasal bones.
Lesions may also arise from the nasopharynx or adjacent structures and involve the nose by way of (...) -
paranasal sinus retention cyst
23 March 2021Paranasal sinuses retention cysts; Mucous retention cysts of the paranasal sinuse
Definition : The paranasal sinuses are air-filled cavities covered by a thin mucous membrane that adhere to the periosteum. Retention cysts in paranasal sinuses are common, incidental finding at radiographic examinations and are reported to occur in between 1.4% to 9.6% of the general population.

low-grade sinonasal sarcoma with neural and myogenic features:
23 March 2012Sarcomas of the sinonasal region are rare. There is a distinct spindle cell sarcoma of the sinonasal region characterized by concomitant neural and myogenic differentiation.
On the basis of the locally aggressive nature of this lesion, it is best considered a low-grade sarcoma and suggest the term "low-grade sinonasal sarcoma with neural and myogenic features".

ethmoidal osteosarcoma
6 November 2009Osteosarcoma uncommonly arises in craniofacial bones and has only rarely been reported to arise in the ethmoid sinus. Most primary osteosarcomas arising in paranasal sinuses are high-grade malignancies.
A low-grade osteosarcoma (parosteal osteosarcoma-like) arising in the ethmoid sinus has also been described.
