Musashi-2 (MSI2), like Musashi-1 (MSI1) (MIM.603328), is an RNA-binding protein. In mice, Msi1 and Msi2 are both expressed during development of the central nervous system (CNS).

Pathology

- HOXA9/MSI2 fusion gene in chronic myeloid leukemia by t(7;17)(p15;q23) with fusion of HOXA9 at 7p15 and MSI2 at 17q23
