Definition: Epithelioid hemangioma is an uncommon vascular tumefaction of uncertain pathogenesis.

The anatomic sites most frequently affected by epithelioid hemangioma are the head (in the distribution of the superficial temporal artery) and the distal portions of the extremities, especially the digits.
