Diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) is a rare yet serious and frequently life-threatening complication of a variety of conditions.
Etiology
coagulation disorders
inhaled mycotoxins
infections
- endotoxinic shock
pulmonary capillaritis associated with systemic autoimmune diseases
- antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies-associated vasculitis
- anti-glomerular basement membrane disease
- systemic lupus erythematosus
thrombotic microangiopathy
- bone marrow allograft-thrombotic microangiopathy (BMA-TMA) (7581082)
