serrated adenomatous polyposis
Saturday 1 December 2012
The "serrated adenomatous polyposis" features multiple and large sessile serrated adenomas, "traditional serrated adenomas", "mixed polyps" (serrated polyps with a dysplastic component indicative of neoplastic progression), and even conventional adenomas.
This type of "hyperplastic polyposis" would be associated with a significant risk of colorectal cancer.
