hepatic lesions
- portal edema
- portal inflammation in which large mononuclear cells and neutrophils predominate
- Rickettsia in portal spaces
- sinusoidal erythrophagocytosis
- hepatocytic necrosis
- biliary duct obstruction secondary to portal inflammation and portal edema
hemolysis
