Pathological synopsis

- Vascular changes in small muscular arteries

  • concentric intimal hyperplasia
  • medial hyperplasia with luminal narrowing
  • prominent myxoid change
  • extravasated red blood cells
  • some foamy histiocytes
  • no evidence of thrombotic microangiopathy.
