anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/La antibodies are detected in > 85% of mothers.
heart in neonatal lupus erythematosus (NLE)
- congenital heart block (CHB) in a structurally normal heart
- late onset cardiomyopathy
- endocardial fibroelastosis
- incomplete blocks
lungs in neonatal lupus erythematosus (NLE)
- diffuse bilateral interstitial infiltrates
- necrotizing capillaritis
- alveolar hemorrhage
