mucosal leishmaniasis

 

Mucosal leishmaniasis of the upper respiratory tract is usually associated with the visceral form or is found in immunosuppressed individuals. Primary mucosal leishmaniasis may occur in both immunosuppresed and immunocompetent patients who travel to or reside in areas endemic for Leishmania.
