Histopathology:

symmetric, well circumscribed
2 or more of the following;
- common nevus
- blue nevus or other pigmented dendritic melanocytes
- Spitz nevus (epithelioid and spindle cell nevus)
- pigmented spindle and epithelioid cells
- amelanotic spindle cells
ordinary nevus component overlies/adjacent to other component
deep involvement occurs
plexiform configuration on occasion
