affects older patients (mean age 62)
predilection for Asian
typically located in ocular sites (eyelids) > extraocular sites (head and neck) > trunk, genitalia, and extremities.
Differential:
balloon cell melanoma
clear cell squamous cell carcinoma
clear cell basal cell carcinoma
clear cell eccrine carcinoma
trichilemmal carcinoma
metastatic clear cell carcinoma of visceral origin
