granulocyte ; polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN, PML, or PMNL) WKPD
Definition: Granulocytes are a category of leukocytes (white blood cells) characterized by the presence of granules in their cytoplasm.
They are also called polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN, PML, or PMNL) because of the varying shapes of the nucleus, which is usually lobed into three segments. This distinguishes them from the mononuclear agranulocytes.
In common parlance, the term polymorphonuclear leukocyte often (...)

therapy-related myeloid neoplasms
11 April 2016t-MN
Deletion 7q is a common chromosomal abnormality in patients with therapy-related myeloid neoplasms (t-MN). Newly emerged del(7q) in patients with prior cytotoxic therapies raises concern for t-MN.
del(7q) emerged in patients with prior cytotoxic therapies is not always associated with t-MN. The clone size is critical. When del(7q) presents as a major clone it is often associated with t-MN; whereas when it is a minor clone it may be a transient finding and may not have any clinical (...) -
