Papillary adenoma of type II pneumocyte is an unusual benign lung neoplasm.

cuboidal to columnar epithelial cells with a little nuclear atypia
monotonous papillary pattern
delicate stroma
Immunochemistry
surfactant apoprotein in the cytoplasm
Electron microscopy
osmiophilic lamellar bodies characteristic of type II pneumocytes
