Desmoplastic fibroblastoma, also sometimes known as collagenous fibroma, is an anatomically ubiquitous but most often subcutaneous lesion occurring in adults.

It shows no tendency for local recurrence and is characterized by a hypocellular proliferation of bipolar or stellate fibroblasts;
