Loffler endocarditis is characterized by an eosinophilic endomyocardial fibrosis. Loffler endocarditis refers to the cardiac component of the hypereosinophilic syndromes, which determines patient morbidity and mortality.

mature eosinophils infiltrate
damage to the endocardium and myocardium

weight loss

congestive heart failure
