anti-SS-A(Ro) antibodies

Saturday 17 June 2017

Anti-SS-A(Ro) antibodies are found in many autoimmune disorders, such as SLE, subacute cutaneous lupus, neonatal lupus, ANA negative lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, primary biliary cirrhosis, chronic active hepatitis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Anti-SS-B (La) is far more specific for Sjogren’s syndrome than anti-SSA. It is also found in SLE.
