Small bowel pseudomelanosis
Definition: Intestinal melanosis is a disorder of pigmentation of the wall of the small bowel. It is benign, and may have no significant correlation with disease. The brown pigment is lipofuscin in macrophages, not melanin. See also : melanosis coli
