Asbestosis - Extensive fibrosis of pleura and lung parenchyma. Asbestosis - Fibrous pleural plaque. Asbestosis - Pleural fibrosis & calcification.
Definition: Discrete fibrous or partially calcified thickened area which can be seen on X-rays of individuals exposed to asbestos. Pleural plaques are themselves asymptomatic.
