HBME1 is a marker of mesothelial cells, named after laboratory of Dr. Hector Battifora and MEsothelioma.

  • In a study, 87.2% of adenomatous goiter and 72.6% of follicular adenoma were negative. 84.6% of follicular carcinoma and 97.2% of papillary carcinoma were positive. All anaplastic and medullary carcinoma tested were negative. (12803237)
