Definition : Poroma is a benign glandular adnexal tumor that usually originates from cells of the outer layer of the acrosyringium and terminal eccrine duct. It has both eccrine and apocrine origin.

Types

- eccrine poroma
- apocrine poroma

Differential diagnosis

- cutaneous epidermoid carcinoma

- Malignant counterpart is referred to as porocarcinoma
