Granulomatous inflammation can be seen in patients with immunodeficiencies (especially chronic granulomatous disease, common variable immunodeficiency [CVID], and T-cell immunodeficiency caused by hypomorphic recombination activating gene 1/2 mutations) and inflammatory disorders (eg, Crohn disease).
