Expression in tumors

- most types of adenocarcinomas, urothelial carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma
- renal cell carcinoma
- malignant mesothelioma (membranous staining)
- meningioma, ependymoma, chordoma, perineurioma
- placental neoplasms
- epithelioid sarcoma, synovial sarcoma, desmoplastic small round cell tumor
- anaplastic large cell lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, plasma cell noeplasms, nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin’s lymphoma (Reed-Sternberg cells)

- absence of EMA expression

  • endocrine tumors
  • adrenal cortical carcinoma
  • melanoma
  • germ cell tumors
