Pseudotails are varied lesions having in common a lumbosacral protrusion and a superficial resemblance to persistent vestigial tails.

Etiology

- anomalous prolongation of the coccygeal vertebrae
- lipoma
- teratoma
- chondromegaly
- glioma
- parasitic fetus
