Hydroephalus of childhood

Hydroephalus of childhood may be associated with intracranial haemorrhage, infection, aqueductal stenosis, Arnold-Chiari malformation (spina bifida), tumours or more uncommonly with the Dandy-Walker syndrome (DWS).

Subtypes

- fetal hydrocephaly (congenital hydrocephalus)
