Types

- apocrine hidrocystoma

  • Apocrine hidrocystoma originate from the blocked excresion of the glands of moll may occasionally encountered as multiple lesions and usually found on the lid margin.

- eccrine hidrocystoma

  • Eccrine hidrocystoma are regarded as less common ductal retension cysts that are not confined to the lid margin.

Synopsis

- cystic lesion of apocrine or eccrine sweat glands
- solitary and translucent cyctic nodule containing serous or milky secretions
